Yellowstone day 1

So today's critter count includes a wolf a coyote 3 large male elk with huge horns a black beat an her cubs a herd of female elk pronghorn deer an 1200 buffalo. Long day. Tomorrow is old faithful and grand Tetons. I'm ready to come home. Tired of driving.

Goodbye deadwood hello Yellowstone!

Today's our long drive day from deadwood to Cody. Hazy and smokey when we left south dakota. You could smell the wildfires. Cleared out after an hour and now it's prairie again. Amazing how much space is open as compared to home. The cows and ponies look very happy here!! Back at country kitchen in Sheridan for lunch then off to Cody!
